Free Amigurumi DJ Headphones Pattern

Well I made these based on my own set of Earpolution DJ headphones and I’m pretty happy with them. They were fun and quick to make. They would probably make a good present for My sister’s boyfriend Larry Curl since he’s a DJ… unless he sees this post… then I’m kinda screwed, oh well, there are always more ideas where that came from ^_^

White Ear Padding-

(Make two. I didn’t stuff mine, but you can if you want, just make sure you stuff it gradually because it gets pretty long.)

Rounds 2-33: sc around

White Band around Ear Piece-

Ch 45

Row 1: sc in 2nd st from hk and across (44)

Assembly of Ear Pieces

  1. Center your Small Gray Plate on top of your Large Aqua Plate and stitch on
  2. Now use the tail of yarn left after crocheting the Large Aqua Plate to stitch it to your Large Black Plate (I didn’t stuff Mine)
  3. Stitch the two ends of your White Ear Padding together to form a circle.
  4. Stitch your White Ear Padding onto your Large Black Plate… you’re almost done
  5. Finally, stitch (or use a hot glue gun, like I did) to wrap the White Band around the center of your Ear Piece where the White Padding, and your Large Plates meet

Assembly of Head Band

  1. Slightly Stuff both halves of your Head Band
  2. Use tail of yarn left on the end of one of your Head Band Pieces and stitch the two pieces together all the way around
  3. Make sure to try and stuff the center of the red area firmly, or it will wind up indented in the center like mine :/
  4. Finally stitch the gray ends of your Head Band to the gray plates on your Ear Pieces and tadaaa, you’re done!

Yeah that’s right, I’m totally posing for that picture, so what 😛

  1. These would be awesome if you put actual head phones in them! Maybe an actual headphone style or just ear buds in them with the wire wrapped through, VERY AWESOME!

  2. I saw these on ravelry and I thought they were sooooo awesome! I’m pretty new to crocheting but they don’t seem too difficult for me to try. So I can’t wait to buy some yarn and start this project!

*Just to make sure, when it says like “sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st, around” we are repeating the entire sequence, right? ^_^’ just had to ask to make sure. Thanks again for the pattern! You rock!

    1. Thanks Jessi ^_^
yeah, it just means that you repeat the same sequence until you make your way back around to the first stitch of that round.
if you can, send pics of your headphones when they are finished. I’ve only ever seen one complete pair and I LOVE seeing other people’s products of my work.
