This is a Japanese Cartoon character that my two nieces love. My brother asked me to make him for them, so I decided to go ahead and post the pattern on here for anyone who is a fan of the show. Enjoy your Anpanman!

I used black felt for his eyes, eye brows, mouth and the happy face on his chest. To attach the cape, I just tied it around his neck area. The belt, I wrapped around his waist, then stitched it closed.

Hi,
For the body edging, when you turn the work around, do you stitch in the back loops or front loops? Like.. since the front loops become the back loops do you go in the back loops? I’m kinda confused :S

After you’ve completed rounds 1-4 of the body edging and get to the part where you turn your work, you are just working into the sc normally, through both loops. Hope that helped and let me know if you still have questions! ^_^
